About Me

Welcome to iMAHENASYON!

I created imahenasyon because of several reasons. First, it is my desire to have my own website so my friends can check on what I am doing. We cannot deny the fact that social networks are flooding on the Net. But having your own personalized electronic page is something that is precious because you are the one who shaped it. Second, is for professional reasons. My profession as a teacher is telling me to confirm to my students that I am proficient in my field. Sometimes, it’s not enough to teach your  students on how to program, develop websites, edit video and pictures,do desktop publishing, and the like without showing to them that you can really do it. It is more evident that you can teach when you have something to show to your students. Something that is genuine, relevant and current.  Third, is to feature the best multimedia tools that we are using in our educational trainings. Finally, my fourth reason is to attest to myself that I am an able professional that I can do crazy things with my imaginations.

Anyway,I am a sweet person, kind, loving, and a good listener. I love to mingle with my friends, but of course I choose the kind of friend/s that I mingled with. Lastly, I also like a bit of light reading when I’m on holiday–nothing too taxing.

To my visitors, I am delighted to see you here. Enjoy your stay!

“It’s time to stop complaining, and time to start doing.
It’s time to stop blaming everyone else, and time to accept responsibility for building our future.
It’s time to stop accepting the world as it is – corrupt, inefficient, unfair and unjust – and start visualizing the world as it can – and should – be.

BOTO MO, I-PATROL MO 2010 is about YOU.  Join us and major partners Globe, Bayan, STI, the Philippine Star, Comelec as well as other commercial, trade and academic institutions one year before the critical May 10, 2010 elections as we launch BOTO MO, I-PATROL MO: AKO ANG SIMULA nationwide – in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.  Register to vote and join the movement in Boto Mo, I-Patrol Mo sites in Manila, Pampanga, Cebu and Davao.  Join all our news programs across all our different platforms in radio, TV, cable, Internet and on your cellphones!  Let’s envision a better world.  Join the first presidential debate on ANC with Senators Panfilo Lacson, Francis Escudero, Mar Roxas, Richard Gordon, Pampanga Gov. Ed Panlilio and Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro.  Watch the Artists’ Revolution concert in partnership with YouthVote Philippines and ABS-CBN at the Music Museum: “365 Days to Change … Todo Na ‘To.”

Don ‘t let this chance for change pass you by.  Use your power to vote wisely. We have one year to create the world we want.  If you’ve had enough but don’t want to be defeated, stand up and say AKO ANG SIMULA.” – Maria A. Ressa

The Miss DMC 2009 is graced with 10 beautiful and lovely ladies from different College Departments (BSN 1 & 2, BSN 3, BSN 4, CAS, HRIM, and CCS) buying for the title Miss DMC 2009. Fortunately, a lady from the College of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management Ms. Niza Nova Usin bagged the crown.

Mr. Quirong draw his inspiration for Ms. DMC 2009 from the culture of Egypt. Overall, the pageant is very successful. My salute to Mr. Ramil Dominic Quirong the stage director for a very good job, to the Teatro Likas Likha and Progeny of Euterpe performers, to the College of Computer Studies for the Computerized Tabulation System, and Video Presentations,  to our sponsors and lastly to the administration of the DMC College Foundation for the support.

See you in our Miss DMC 2010!

Miss DMC 2008 Beauty Pageant AVP

Search for Miss DMC 2008.

This presentation is intended for the Miss DMC 2008 Evening Gown category. I am so depressed because I was not able to make a back-up on my other presentations made for this event. I lost it and I can not trace it anymore in my hard drive.

Anyway, the theme for this year’s Miss DMC is different. I had a hard time thinking of what will be the best AVP to make that fits to the concept of the choreographer/show director (Sir Q). But I am elated that Sir Q loved my idea for the AVP. I used Adobe After Effects and Flash 8 in making this presentation. The only major problem that I had encountered is the rendering of the video. It took me 2-3 hours for a 3-minute AVP. Will, considering the low specifications of equipment that I am using, it’s obvious that I can not do it fast.

We are delighted to become one of the newest members of the Animation Council of the Philippines, Inc. (ACPI). ACPI is an organization recognized and supported by the Philippine government whose aim is to promote the Animation Industry globally with the intention of creating an identity for the Philippines to be considered amongst the preferred countries that serves the animation industry.

Developing the culture of animation in our province is one of the thrusts of the DMC-College of Computer Studies. We strongly believed that now is the time to empower the animation in our province. Through this endeavor we hope to strengthen the unity of our skilled animators from Zamboanga del Norte to become competitive locally and internationally not only with other computing skills but also in the area of animation. That is why the DMC College of Computer Studies took the initiative to organize and host the First Zanorte Animation Festival. A DMC CCS 3rd I.T. Days last March 5-6, 2010 with the theme Transforming Vision into Reality Through the Wonders of Animation.

We invited noble speakers who are experts in their fields. Ramon del Prado, a professional 2D & 3D animator and co-founder of the Tuldok Animation, Inc. and Mr. Greg Morales of Purehearts Manila, professional voice actor and photographer.  In time for the upcoming 2010 National Election we also invited Atty. Josil Macute of COMELEC to give us a quick seminar-workshop on “Voter’s Education + PCOS Machine of Smartmatic Actual Hands-on”.

To the participating schools, agencies, and to our sponsors thank you very much for making this event a success. We hope to see you in our 2nd Zanorte Animation Festival. Gracias!
